Scouting Through the Years - Rushden Museum

Rushden Museum in Hall Park Rushden have chosen Scouting through the years as this years display topic, they are in urgent need of any photos, equipment, uniform etc that anyone could lend them to display. Smaller items will be in glass display cabinets, uniforms either on mannequins or a wall display and equipment on shelving around the room.

Wednesday June 12th, during celebrate Rushden week, the museum will be open from 6.30 to 8.00 pm and all groups in the district are welcome to come along to visit the museum.

We are also planning for a small skills display i.e. knife skills, axe and saw demos and a camp fire too.

If you are able to assist in any way possible we would be very grateful if you could get in touch as the museum opens on May 4th and as you can appreciate it will take time to arrange displays etc.
